Apple Farmhouse / Pool day

Amongst the multiple trips back and forth to the pool, our place of choice for a bigger meal for lunch was going to be Th Apple Mill up the road. We pass this place each time we leave and return to our site. It is always packed. Today was the day we were going to try it out! This was a pool day dedicated to the kids to work on proper swimming techniques for their triathlon the next day. However, the three little fishes pretty much spent the whole day in the pool other than the times we needed to replenish ourselves with food and water.

The Apple Mill was most amazing apple orchard attraction located up the road from our campground. This apple farm had two restaurants with some home cooked southern dishes. Upon sitting down, we are served with hot right out of the oven apple fritters and some homemade apple, pineapple juice. Outside of this restaurant, there was a bakery, a creamery, a hard cider facility, a Christmas and general store, along with a few other things. We made our rounds and collected many amazing, tasty things to add to our farmer market collection of our foods across America! To say we have tasted the best apple pie or apple fritters we’ve ever had would an absolute understatement! I swear, we are most definitely coming back 20lbs heavier. The food is certainly becoming heartier, heavier and getting so so good!
