2 hr drive to Washington D.C. Now I understand why they say Idaho traffic, for those moving into Idaho, say we have no idea what traffic is. What should have taken about an hour to drive if you base on distance, took us a whole additional hour! But we made it!

It was a hot one! 10.90 miles rode throughout the National Mall. I honestly wouldn’t do it any other way. D.C. is extremely bike friendly. As nervous as I was with the kiddos and riding on the main roads and such. It turned out to be the best adventure, the best and fastest way to route yourself around town and we didn’t miss out on anything! Although, if and when visiting D.C again, we will defintly plan more time, and much closer area so our commute wasn’t so long! Though we were able to get around and see a lot of the places along the National Mall. There is was no way we would be able to do it all in one day!
